Dr. Kosmo became triple board-certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. After completing his training in 1986, he continued as a staff physician and clinical instructor for the medicine residency and hematology and oncology fellowship training programs until 1991. He was also an associate clinical professor in medicine for the UCSD Medical School clinical teaching program.
