Dr. Money spent over a decade in the US Military serving in a number of roles that included being an US Air Force Flight Surgeon, the Senior Medical Advisor to the Department of Homeland Security, the Head Physician Epidemiologist for the Department of Defense’s (DoD’s) Global Emerging Infections Surveillance and Response institute, and the Chief Medical Officer of Integrative Medicine for DoD’s Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury. She completed her medical training in Atlanta, GA at Morehouse School of Medicine, and completed her internship and training in Aerospace medicine and Preventive medicine through the military medical facilities of Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Her training and care is focused on providing comprehensive medical care for the entire family, with specialized skills in battle-field and disaster medicine.
Dr. Money enjoys providing comprehensive and holistic care for her patients, along with a special focus on integrative mental health for those patients needing treatment and support in these areas. Having moved to the San Diego area in February 2021 she finds it an absolute delight and privilege to provide holistic primary care for the patients at Perlman Clinic. During her time off she enjoys running on the beach, practicing yoga, spending time with her family and dogs, going on spiritual retreats, enjoying wholesome comedy, and exploring the beauty and warmth of Southern California.
