A board-certified internist and nephrologist with experience in the private practice, academic and corporate settings, Dr. Rana brings a passion for patient care to the team at Perlman Clinic.  His professional philosophy is to offer the care he would want for himself and his family.

In addition to his love of medicine, he enjoys sports, the fine arts and travel.  Hailing from Chicago, the Chicago Cubs are near and dear to his heart.  A diehard Cubs fan, he is now proud to be a San Diegan, enjoying local sports teams and adventures including hiking, surfing and soon scuba diving.  He resides in the greater San Diego area with his family.
