William A. Pitt, MD has been practicing medicine since 1972. He graduated from British Columbia University in 1967 and finalized his studies at University of California San Diego where he earned a Fellowship in Cardiology. Dr. Pitt has completed over 40 publications and research projects. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, San Diego Medical Society, and California Medical Association. Although his medical focus is in cardiology, he also serves as a primary care physician to many of his patients here at Perlman Clinic.

Dr. Pitt is married. His wife is also in the medical field working as a professor at Grossmont College teaching critical care nursing. In his free time he enjoys duck hunting and gardening.
