Dr. Barvalia finished his Internal Medicine residency in 2015 and completed Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology fellowship training at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey in 2019. Subsequently, due to family ties in Southern California, he came back to work and practice as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Cardiology at the UCR School of Medicine from 2019 to 2021. He recently moved to San Diego with his family and joined Sherev Heart and Vascular Clinic. He is proficient in all percutaneous coronary, valvular, peripheral interventions and has published multiple papers in these areas. He enjoys traveling and photography besides spending time with family.
