Dr. David Amory is board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery and Fellowship Trained in Spine Surgery. He went to Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Illinois, Cook County Hospital and Rush Presbyterian Medical Center. He was born in Canada and raised in Seattle. His father and brother are also physicans.

His professional interests include total joint replacement of the knee and hip and spine surgery. He is currently doing a minimally invasive "quad sparing" approach for total knee replacements. This muscle sparing approach does seem to speed up recovery significantly. Dr. Amory also specializes in minimally invasive total hip replacements through either an anterior or posterior approach. Additionally a custom table call the "Hanna" table, has allowed Dr. Amory to perform direct anterior hip replacement through a four to five inch incision.

Dr. Amory truly enjoys seeing patients improve their quality of life and decreasing their level of pain.
