Dr. Sharon Dyer grew up in Southern California where she earned her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine. She then attended Western University College of Optometry to obtain her doctoral degree in Optometry. Dr. Dyer's training includes various external rotations during her last year of school that allowed her to travel the U.S. and gain experience working with a wide variety of patient populations. During her rotations she gained experience working with a wide variety of specialty contact lenses, which can be used to provide adequate vision to patients with Keratoconus and patients who have had corneal surgeries or transplants. She is trained to fit rigid gas permeable (RGP), scleral, and hybrid lenses in addition to soft contact lenses, toric lenses for astigmatism, and multifocal/monovision contact lenses. Dr. Dyer enjoys working with patients of all ages to provide comprehensive eye care and is certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease.

In her spare time Dr. Dyer enjoys swimming, relaxing at the beach with her french bulldog, painting, and trying new restaurants.
