Dr. Tina Khieu grew up in San Diego, California and received her bachelor’s degree in General Biology with a minor in Japanese at San Diego State University. Dr. Khieu went on to complete her doctorate degree at the New England College of Optometry and was one of three students in her class to be accepted into the Pediatric Concentration Program. This allowed her to have extensive exposure in pediatric care in various settings including various community health centers, Boston Medical Center, and Perkins School for the Blind. She was selected by faculty to receive the Ira Schwartz Behavioral Vision Award for pediatric care in 2020.

When she is not working, Dr. Khieu enjoys staying active particularly with weight training as she is a competitive bodybuilder in the Women’s Wellness Division. She also likes cooking and making ice cream from scratch.
